These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website coldstations.com, its mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). Please read these Terms carefully.

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

In these Terms, the following definitions apply:

  • The Platform / Cold Station: Refers to coldstations.com, acting as a digital intermediary for refrigeration and air conditioning services.
  • Advertiser (Service Provider): Any registered user (individual or entity) displaying products or services on the Platform.
  • User (Customer): Any individual browsing the Platform or communicating with Advertisers.
  • The Service: The provision of digital advertising space to connect buyers and sellers.
  • Content: Text, images, and data uploaded by users.

2. Nature of the Platform & Financial Liability

  1. Intermediary Role: Cold Station is strictly an advertising platform and directory. We are not a seller, buyer, agent, or broker for any transactions.
  2. No Payment Processing: The Platform does not process payments. All financial transactions occur directly between the Advertiser and the User (e.g., cash on delivery, bank transfer) outside the Platform.
  3. Disclaimer: We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of the items advertised, nor the truth or accuracy of the listings.

3. Account Registration & Email Privacy Policy

This section is critical regarding your data and communication.

  1. Registration: To access specific features, you must register with accurate information, including a valid email address.
  2. Consent to Receive Transactional Emails: By registering, you explicitly consent to receive system-generated emails from Cold Station. These are strictly limited to:
    • Account Verification (OTP codes).
    • Password Reset links.
    • Critical Security Alerts.
  3. Email Privacy (Hidden Emails):
    • Your email address is confidential. It is NOT visible to other users on the Platform.
    • Other users cannot send you emails via the Platform.
    • We do not share your email with third-party advertisers.
  4. Authorized Communication Channels: All communication between Advertisers and Users must take place via the internal Chat system or the displayed Phone Number.

4. User Conduct & Anti-Abuse Policy

You agree strictly NOT to:

  1. Spam & Abuse: Attempt to abuse the verification system by triggering excessive OTP emails to yourself or others ("Email Bombing").
  2. Harvesting: Collect or "scrape" user data from the Platform manually or via automated scripts.
  3. Illegal Content: Post content that violates the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or Islamic Sharia principles.
  4. Misrepresentation: Impersonate any person or entity or provide false information.

Violation of this section will result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.

5. Content Regulations

Advertisers must ensure that:

  1. Ads are exclusively related to refrigeration, freezing, and air conditioning sectors.
  2. Images are real, clear, and do not infringe on intellectual property rights.
  3. The Platform has the right to remove any advertisement that violates these Terms without prior notice.

6. Limitation of Liability

  1. User Disputes: Cold Station is not a party to any dispute between an Advertiser and a User regarding services, payments, or defects. You release us from all claims, demands, and damages arising out of such disputes.
  2. Service Availability: We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee that the Platform will be error-free or uninterrupted due to maintenance or technical issues.

7. Intellectual Property

All content included on the Platform (logos, code, design, database structure) is the property of Cold Station and is protected by copyright laws. You may not copy or reproduce any part of the Platform without written permission.

8. Termination

Cold Station reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if:

  1. You breach these Terms.
  2. We detect suspicious activity (e.g., bot behavior, spamming OTP requests).
  3. Requested by law enforcement agencies.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes arising from the use of this Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
